About Trinity Bible Church
Trinity Bible Church is a Christ-centered, nondenominational, Bible-believing ministry that began with three families in 1974. By God’s grace this small group of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ purchased eight acres on North Suber Road in Greer that included an old farmhouse, Trinity’s first sanctuary.
As the church family increased the Lord enabled it to build a modest auditorium along with classrooms, nursery, and an office. In 1982 Dr. Stewart Custer was called to pastor the church, adding Greg Mazak as assistant pastor (youth) in 1990. As the Lord continued to bless a larger auditorium was built and two more assistant pastors were added—Ward Andersen (administration) in 2003 and Manuel Mendoza (Spanish ministry) in 2004. In 2009 Pastor Custer transitioned to the role of Pastor Emeritus and Pastor Mazak became senior pastor.
Although the size of the congregation has steadily increased Trinity remains a friendly, missionary minded church that lovingly ministers God’s sufficient Word. The completion of the current auditorium in 2000 allowed the former sanctuary to be used for our Spanish ministry. The Activity Center was added in 2007, providing space for increased educational ministry, outreach, fellowship, and receptions.
The Trinity family meets Sunday mornings and evenings to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and Wednesday evenings for prayer. The church provides nursery facilities, Sunday school classes for every age-group, a Truth Trackers children’s ministry, a Ladies Missionary Fellowship, men’s prayer breakfast, and other ministry and fellowship opportunities.
