His Faithful Follower

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27).
"His faithful follower I will be . . . ." How often have I sung the words of my favorite hymn and yet not stopped to think of all they imply.
If I follow my Saviour, I must not take my eyes off of Him He must fill all my vision.
If I follow my loving Lord, I don't set the pace, He does God won't be hurried.
If I follow the Shepherd of my soul, I shouldn't worry about which way to go He leads in the perfect way.
Jesus said of His children, "My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me. . . " (John 10:27). His faithful follower I will be.
