“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (Ps. 61:2). “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth” (Rom. 10:4). The purpose of the law was to show people that they needed a Savior. Christ alone can deliver from sin. Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ means “receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls” (I Pet. 1:9). The psalmist prayed with determination, “Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end” (Ps. 119:33). “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely” (Rev. 21:6).Golden Thought Jesus said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.” Taken from Stewart Custer, Wonderful Words (© 2006 BJU Press).
